10/31/08 - General Release Big Green/Alumni Tailgate Set for East Carolina Game The Thundering Herd football takes on East Carolina on Saturday, Nov. 8, in Greenville, N.C., and Herd fans are invited to a pre-game tailgate. The Marshall University Big Green Scholarship Foundation and the MU Alumni Association are sponsoring the tailgate from 1 to 3 p.m. (Eastern Time) near the visiting team area (Gate 4) at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in Greenville, N.C. 10/31/08 - General Release Annual Big Green Endowment Dinner Scheduled For Nov. 6 For the 12th straight year, the Big Green Scholarship Foundation and Marshall University student athletes get to say thanks to their benefactors. This most gratifying event happens on Nov. 6 when representatives of endowed athletic scholarships will break bread with the students who are getting a college education thanks to the endowment fund. The annual Big Green Endowment Dinner will be held in the Don Morris Room at the Memorial Student Center. (more)
